My Journey

Hi, I’m Flor — the hands and heart behind FellowSheep Yarn.

My love for yarn began many years ago with crochet, then grew into knitting, spinning, and eventually dyeing my own fiber. Working mostly with non-superwash wool, I’ve learnt to focus on preserving the natural structure of the fibers while achieving rich, lasting colors. I know how important it is to treat wool gently — especially when dyeing — to avoid color bleeding and keep the fiber soft and strong.

FellowSheep Yarn is inspired by my grandmother, a true maker and resourceful spirit. She could always find time to create something beautiful, even when materials were scarce. I still remember her knitting me a sweater, then later unraveling it to turn it into a vest when I outgrew it — the same yarn, given new life.

With this shop, I hope to share that same sense of care, creativity, and sustainability with you — one skein at a time.
